To build confidence in this subject, I am searching for a professional instructor to provide structured electric guitar lessons for my child. Since my child is in the 10 to 15 yrs age group and we currently have no guitar, I would appreciate guidance on the right instrument to purchase before we begin immediately. The focus is on learning the rock and roll genre through online classes. Because the goal is formal training to earn certification for a particular music grade level, I prefer group classes to foster a collaborative learning environment.
