Developing a strong foundation in playing the guitar through formal training is my primary goal as I work toward earning a certification for a specific music grade level. I am searching for a skilled mentor to provide online classes that focus on Jazz and Blues styles using an Acoustic instrument. Since I am currently in the 16 to 25 age group and do not own a guitar yet, I would appreciate guidance on the right equipment to purchase before we begin.
