To build confidence in this subject, I am exploring options for my child who is below 10 years old to begin learning the Hindustani flute. We are currently based near Girish Park Metro Station in Kolkata and are open to both having a teacher come to our home or traveling to a nearby location for sessions. My child does not own an instrument yet, so we would appreciate guidance on selecting a suitable flute before we officially begin our lessons. We are still in the early research phase and would love to understand the process and teaching style before committing to a schedule.
